The animation for this episode seemed a little under par at times, since Belldandy's eyes seemed to be all over the place.

This episode is mostly filler, much like the last one. However, they actually manage to finish the first chapter of the manga at this point, and the first few minutes of the OVA. However, they seem to skip a few scenes in the manga, such as chapter two ("Into the Lair of the Otaku"), and at the end they end up sleeping in a car behind the Motor Club's clubhouse rather than finding their way to the temple.

Also, the conversation that Belldandy and Keiichi have at the very end is a new addition. Although the first conversation between them earlier in the episode (the one where Keiichi points out his flaws, and Belldandy saying it's not a fair measurement of attractiveness) was expanded upon, never before did Keiichi ever really sit down and talk with Belldandy and/or her sisters about Heaven, nor did Belldandy really sit down and talk to Keiichi "on-screen" about his life.

The narration that was present in the first episode is now absent from the second episode, for reasons unknown. This trend seems to continue.

One thing that's interesting is that the new television series seems to be trying to take the OVA series to the next level. For instance, the OVA series started the series over from the beginning, writing it the way the manga would've been written and drawn if Mr. Fujishima knew where his characters would end up (after all, his initial idea was simply a goddess living with a man). It took a while in the manga for the characters to evolve to the point where they are now, not only their looks but their personalities as well.

It'll be interesting to see how it will turn out once Urd makes her appearance, since at first Urd bickers with Belldandy ceaselessly, but later calms down as the bickering aspect is then shifted to Urd and Skuld. In any case, we'll see what develops over the next few episodes, despite the fact that I'll be surprised if they'll even make it to the Lord of Terror arc by the end of this first season.
