Finally, Urd's major appearance! A good number of fans have been looking forward to this, and this episode certainly doesn't disappoint, since Mr. Gohda decides to really crank up the fanservice with a gratuitous amount of shots of Miss Urd's cleavage!

Actually, I thought this episode was a smidge too gratuitous, but whatever. Onward with the comparison!

The beginning of the episode up to the point of Keiichi playing the video is all new material. Originally, in the manga, Keiichi finds a package in the mail of a porn video. He believes it to be a "gift" from his upperclassmen, and eagerly puts it in the VCR while Belldandy's away shopping.

In the anime, Keiichi has no idea it's supposedly a porn video, but that doesn't seem to stop him from watching it once he sees Urd's bust :-P

Belldandy's sneezing does not occur in the manga, so any reference to it in the anime is completely new. Such as the nasal medicine and such.

Much like in the manga, the anime Urd accidently bashes Keiichi in the face with her knee, although the kiss-exit is new to the anime, since in the manga she just pops on out (like Video Girl Ai!). However, in the manga, Urd is shown fearing Belldandy finding out about her and concealing herself; this is not shown in the anime, as the viewer is just wondering where Urd went until she pops back out from the ground. Amusingly enough, in the manga she pops back up in between Keiichi's legs.

As mentioned before, Belldandy was out shopping. In the manga, she returns from shopping when she finds Keiichi unconscious on the floor.

Belldandy playing back Keiichi's memory is the same. One major difference is that Urd does not give her business card to Keiichi, but this didn't happen in the OVA either. This is very strange since it is Japanese custom for people to give out their business cards on a first meeting (if available), but... whatever.

Urd's mentioning of Keiichi "monopolizing" a single goddess is completely new to the anime. Urd's purpose in the manga was to recharge the Ultimate Force, but Belldandy quickly ascertains that is not her true purpose. Then Urd 'fesses up about monitoring Keiichi and Belldandy and stating that she'll do anything to spice up their love life, and Belldandy gets angry and starts shooting force bolts at her sister.

Yeah. None of that occurs here.

Skuld's first appearance during the manga during this particular story only had the back of her head, but in the anime she's completely shown. According to Dark Horse, Skuld says "Gee whiz, I don't get it..." while in the anime she says "aa, mou... URD NO BAKA!" (loosely "oh... stupid Urd!").

Belldandy originally tells Keiichi that Urd's more powerful than herself after the bath incident in the manga, but it occurs as a separate conversation in the anime (while the rest happens later).

Urd's conversation with Keiichi is changed. It originally happens while Urd is attempting to seduce Keiichi, which happens near the end of the chapter and after the bath incident. The part about needing Keiichi's Genetic/Hereditary information is still faithful to the manga though, although it was still a lie in both cases. In the manga, Urd says that her body serves as an uploading client and if Keiichi made love to her, his genetic information would be uploaded into the system. However, in the anime, it's changed so that Keiichi's genetic information can be transferred by kissing Belldandy.

So, basically, this whole Kissing Belldandy thing that takes up a good amount of the episode is new to the anime.

In the manga, Keiichi originally takes a bath right after Urd and Belldandy fight after meeting, and his original thoughts were on how Urd was such a sex bomb compared to Belldandy. Urd appears fully clothed in the manga, but appears in a towel in the anime.

During the spell Urd casts, Keiichi is facing Urd in the manga while his back is to Urd in the anime. Also, it seems that Urd lost her temper a lot quicker in the anime than in the manga. Originally in the manga, Keiichi visualizes Belldandy's angry face to resist Urd's spell, but that's not the case here.

The conversation taking place between Belldandy and Keiichi after that incident... let's see, Belldandy states in the manga that she was afflicted by a virus that could only be healed by the Jade Dragon Stone of the East. In the anime, Belldandy states that she was suffering from a demon's poison that could only be cured by Clear Stream Stone in the East. Not sure if it has something to do with translation or not, but...

In the manga, the reason Urd was so late in getting the Stone form the East was because she was too busy taming Sleipner. In the anime, it seems she was just having fun.

The comments made by Belldandy and Keiichi right after the flashback are new, the ones concerning how Belldandy lives her life the way she wants to as well as wanting to be with Keiichi forever. In the manga, a kiss right after that is interrupted by Urd, but doesn't occur in the anime. Instead, the kiss is interrupted by Belldandy's sneeze.

Urd seems to favor hiding in the rafters for the anime. Usually she goes mini in the manga or something like that.

"The reason why you can't lay a finger on Belldandy is probably because you don't know how great a woman is." This scene was altered a good amount. Originally, in the manga, Belldandy and Urd slept in the same room, but Urd left in order to try to seduce Keiichi. In the anime, Belldandy's awake in her room while Keiichi's trying to sleep, and Urd appears out of nowhere by his side.

The conversation about uploading his genetic information originally took place right before she tried to seduce keiichi in the manga, but since it was discussed before, it isn't here at this point in the anime. Keiichi's visualizing Belldandy's face was originally used in the manga during the bath incident, but for the anime it was used here.

The medicine that Urd gives Keiichi is new to the anime. As a result, the following events are new to the anime. Originally in the manga, Belldandy catches them, Keiichi spills the beans about uploading, the lying factor of Urd comes up, bolts fly about, and Urd is banned from Heaven for a short time.

Urd's attack, Geki Hyou... I'm not sure, but I think that's a spell she used in the Ninja Master arc in the manga. Heck, Urd doesn't attack at this point in the manga, even. Belldandy begins to attack, but Urd's hit by God's message from Heaven.

Urd actually got mad at Belldandy and started attacking her? That's something I didn't expect to happen. Urd gets playful and tricky, but I didn't expect her to get mad and go all out in her assault against Belldandy.

Is God's message on her leg? I can't tell. In the manga, it's on a tatami mat underneath Urd. Also, the writing is significantly different, since the manga uses pseudo-Thai/Laosian (they don't make any sense), while the anime seems to use something more from the... Celtic region?

The ending with Megumi meeting Urd is new. And they take photographs in heaven? Wow.
