About the Name

I named the site after one of Angela Aki's songs, Santa Fé. It is found on her Kiss Me Good-Bye single, and is a song sung entirely in English. To find out more about the song including the lyrics, click here.

As for why, first off, it's a catchy title. It's also found on the Kiss Me Good-Bye single, so most people will have at least heard of the song title if they like the theme song. So it's a recognizeable name without being blatantly Final Fantasy-related. And I get a Balthier-vibe from the song, because it's a pimp song and Balthier is pimp.

Also, don't forget the accent over the "e". That will drive people crazy because most people don't know how to type it. Balthier deserves such a pimp shrine name. Because he is the leading man. Well, the only male character worth caring about.

My friend Bobbi runs Kiss Me Good-Bye, an Ashe shrine. It was only later when I realized, "hey, my shrine's title is the B-side to your shrine's title, lol". All we need is someone to name their shrine "Aoi Kage" and maybe someone else will name their shrine "Kiss Me Good-Bye (Featured in FINAL FANTASY XII)" and we'd have the Kiss Me Good-Bye single shrine compiliation, lol.

About the Reason

I liked Balthier the best when I first laid eyes on his character design. Plus, I wanted to have fun making this site. If you have fun looking at my site, that makes me happy as well. Just because I thought the game was a disappointment doesn't mean I can't have fun making a related webpage.
