Chester's Name
According to Babynames.com, Chester is an English name meaning "A Fortress, Camp". I have no idea why Namco decided to give him that name, but at least it's a normal name.
For those of you who like Kabalarians, this is what they have to say about Chester's name:

As for the name "Burklight", an alternative (and probably intended) spelling is "Barklight". Separate those two works, and you get "bark" and "light". The game manual states that Chester has a somewhat sarcastic attitude, which could also be a reference to a "light bark". Okay, so that's far-fetched, but you're not the one with a Chester shrine, are you?
