Information - Xenosaga
There are two things in the Xenosaga story that were possibly influenced by the original idea that Emeralda and her story had in the team's mind.
Realians
In Xenosaga, there are artificial beings known as Realians. They are mass-produced beings made with nanotechnology, and are living computers. They're similar to Emeralda, but one main difference is that unlike Emeralda, they cannot form weapons out of their extremities.
Joachim Mizrahi takes on the role of Kim Kasim, trying to resurrect his daughter Sakura through a specially made Realian named MOMO. He made 99 prototypes to gather data so that his daughter's new body would be perfect; these prototypes were called the Kirschwassers. The Kirschwassers were retired once the 100-series Prototype was completed as well as when the 100-series went into mass-production; most, if not all, fell into the wandering hands of Albedo.
As a side note, it must've been freaky for Juli Mizrahi to see hundreds of clones of her dead daughter wandering about. And people wonder why she's so cranky.
MOMO's story may be an expansion on Emeralda's story to an extent, but MOMO has a lot more consequences to deal with (and isn't as awesome in battle). MOMO was also created to replace somebody lost, to fill a void. Also, while this may have been cut out of the finished trilogy, MOMO was planned to be transferred to an adult chassis later on.
Not to mention that a lot of people are after MOMO because she holds the Y-data, much like how Krelian wanted Emeralda for her technology. Also, while Realian rights may have been fought for, are still treated as something less than human by a number of people.
Designer Children
Emeralda was created during an age of tainted man, and was created to be a pure and perfect angel of redemption. The Salvators are designer children; bioengineered children to be perfect. The U.R.T.V.s from Xenosaga are all designer children. Further information about this may be found in the story of Pied Piper.
Okay, so I actually don't have that much to write in this section. So sue me.
